FGM CELEBRATES LINCOLN'S 200TH BIRTHDAY

The law firm of Franks, Gerkin & McKenna, celebrated the 200th Birthday of Abraham Lincoln the weekend of February 14th at the Marengo-Union Business and Consumer Expo. The firm sponsored Lincoln’s birthday celebration which took place after Congressman Don Manzullo’s Town Hall meeting. After thanking Congressman Manzullo for his admirable public service, Partner Herb Franks spoke about the Lincoln legacy and led the Expo in a celebration of this great President.
Abraham Lincoln is remembered for his vital role as the leader in preserving this great country during the Civil War and leading the abolition of slavery. He is also remembered for his character, his speeches and letter, and as a man of humble origins whose determination and perseverance led him to the nation’s highest office.
